Lucie Newport's work experience begins in 1990 as an Administrator for the Management Development Team at Fletcher Challenge. Lucie then worked as a Personnel Officer at New Zealand Dairy Foods Division from 1991 to 1993 and as a Personnel Manager at Griffins Foods Ltd from 1993 to 1996.
In 1996, Lucie became a student at Bible College of New Zealand before joining Sanitarium in 1997 as an HR Training Coordinator. Lucie later became an HR Consultant, took a parental leave, and then became a Learning & Development Manager at Sanitarium from 2006 to 2017.
Lucie then worked as a Self-Employed Consultant from 2017 to 2018 before joining World Vision as a People & Culture Director in 2018. Lucie then held the role of Learning & Development Director before becoming Senior Director of People & Organisational Capability at World Vision in 2022.
Lucie Newport completed a Post Grad - Diploma in Business (Employee Relations) with a focus on Organisational Development from The University of Auckland from 1991 to 1993. Lucie then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Theological and Ministerial Studies from Bible College of New Zealand (now Laidlaw College) from 1996 to 2004.
