Associate Vice President, Campus Partnerships at WorldStrides

Dan O'Brien has a diverse range of work experience in the education and international programs field. Dan started their career as an Education Abroad Advisor at the University of North Dakota, where they marketed and promoted study abroad opportunities and advised students on program selection. Dan then moved to Virginia Tech as an Associate Director for Education Abroad. After that, they joined GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, where they held roles such as Regional Director and Director of US Institutional Relations and Development. Following their time at GlobaLinks, they worked at ThinkImpact as the Vice President of Institutional Relations. Dan then became the Director of Institutional Development at Academic Programs International before joining WorldStrides as the Associate Vice President of Campus Partnerships, where they are currently in their role. Throughout their career, Dan has been involved in various aspects of international education, including sales, strategic planning, relationship management, and staff training.

Dan O'Brien holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. Dan also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education-Spanish from SUNY Oneonta.
