Alysia Gobert-Smith has extensive experience in public media and healthcare. Since February 1998, Alysia has served as the Assistant Director of Membership and On-Air Fundraising at WOSU Public Media, where responsibilities include strategizing and coordinating on-air fundraising campaigns, managing membership benefit gifts, and overseeing call center relationships. Alysia also held the position of Audience Advocate, focusing on customer service and policy recommendations, and previously worked as a TV Traffic Coordinator, ensuring compliance with FCC regulations in program logging. Prior to WOSU, Alysia was a Patient Service Associate in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, providing vital support to medical staff and patient transport. Alysia holds a degree from The Ohio State University.

WOSU has a vibrant outreach to the educational community and serves educators and caregivers living throughout central and southern Ohio.
