Chuck Oney has over 20 years of experience in the broadcast media industry. Currently serving as a TV Studio Crew member at WOSU Public Media since April 2005, Chuck previously worked as an Editor Assistant at Mills James Productions from August 2000 to April 2005 and as a Master Control Operator at WWHO from August 2000 to May 2003. Chuck Oney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/Television from Morehead State University, which was pursued between 1988 and 1990, and an Associate's degree in Telecommunications Technology/Technician from Ashland Community and Technical College, completed in 1988.

WOSU Public Media is a community-supported, noncommercial network of public radio and television stations, and digital services. WOSU operates public radio and television stations licensed to The Ohio State University including WOSU Public Television, 89.7 NPR News (89.7 FM), and Classical 101 (101.1 FM). WOSU's digital presence includes online news coverage, a mobile app, podcasts and more. WOSU has a vibrant outreach to the educational community and serves educators and caregivers living throughout central and southern Ohio.
