Nick Dipalo

Nick DiPalo has a diverse work history that spans over several decades. Their most recent role was as a Soldier Ride Recruiter Coordinator at the Wounded Warrior Project, starting in September 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Warrior Coordinator at the same organization from February 2015 to September 2018.

Before joining the Wounded Warrior Project, Nick DiPalo spent four years as a Semi-Retired individual, from October 2011 to February 2015.

Their previous experience includes working as a Senior In-Home Support Representative and Team Leader at Philips Lifeline from October 2008 to October 2011.

Nick DiPalo also served in the New York City Police Department for twenty years, from July 1988 to July 2008. During this time, they held the role of Police Officer and was recognized for graduating from the Police Academy with honors. Nick also served as a Police Communications Technician, responsible for receiving and prioritizing 911 emergency calls.

Additionally, they worked as a Fire Alarm Dispatcher at the Bethpage Fire District from February 1982 to December 1984. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Assistant Manager for Kidder-Hunt Management, working at various McDonald's franchises on Long Island from September 1979 to November 1981.

Nick DiPalo has a diverse educational background. Nick attended John Jay College (CUNY) in 1994-1995, where they studied Criminal Justice. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued the same field at LIU Post. Nick also has a background in Communications, having attended the New York Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1979. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained The Fire Watch Watch Stander Certificate from PsychArmor in July 2022, and in November 2015, they obtained the Asist Suicide First Aid certification.
