Dawn Lavalette has extensive work experience in various roles related to retail and category management. Dawn began their career at Sainsbury's in 2005 as a Merchandise Manager and later transitioned into the role of Senior Buyer. At Sainsbury's, they were responsible for category strategy, product development, pricing, and promotions in a range of categories including stationery, toys, and nursery. In 2011, Dawn moved to Tesco where they held multiple roles, including Head of Buying for Toys and Nursery in both the UK and Central Europe. Dawn also served as a Category Manager for Fresh Food at Tesco. Currently, Dawn is the Managing Director at Wow! Stuff, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the SVP and Commercial Director at Wow! Stuff from November 2018 to March 2023.
Dawn Lavalette attended St Helen's in an unspecified timeframe. Dawn went on to study at the University of Birmingham from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology.

In February 2020 we won the global 'Toy of The Year' (TOTY) innovation award for our Harry potter Invisibility Cloak and now we are on a mission to launch a patented sustainable ‘Back to Earth’ plastic in toys.
