Jackson R. is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and news reporting. Currently serving as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WOWK 13 News since April 2025, Jackson previously held roles as a Morning News Anchor and Multimedia Journalist at WHBF-TV from June 2023 to April 2025. Jackson also worked as a Sports News Producer and Anchor at News 3 WIU, where responsibilities included organizing and creating sports stories for live television. Additional experience includes directing for Western Illinois Sports on ESPN+, hosting a radio show at 88.3 The Dog - WIU-FM, and various roles in customer service and videography. Jackson holds a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism from Western Illinois University, complemented by prior education in Mass Media and Television Production.
