Wowza Media Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our high-performing new logo sales team. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, this role is integral to driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships with our mid-market customers. As an Account Executive, you’ll work in a fast-paced, velocity-driven sales environment, engaging directly with technical stakeholders and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
This person must be located in the Denver metro area and be able to be on-site up to 4 days per week.
What You'll Do:
· Own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to late-stage deal closure, ensuring a consistent velocity sales motion with deal sizes ranging from $10K to $150K and an average sales cycle of 65 days.
· Adopt a consultative approach to selling, with a deep understanding of the developer audience and their unique needs.
· Conduct high-quality, consultative product demonstrations tailored to developers and technical audiences.
· Capitalize on a steady stream of highly qualified inbound leads (50%+ of pipeline) to drive revenue growth.
· Supplement inbound leads with consistent outbound outreach daily.
· Work closely with the Commercial Sales Manager to align on team strategies and exceed revenue targets. Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to enhance lead quality and customer experiences.
· Diligently track all activities and deal updates in HubSpot CRM real time as they occur.
· Keep pipeline accurate and up to date at all times for forecasting purposes.
About You:
· 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Familiarity with managing fast-moving sales cycles and mid-market deals.
· Exceptional communication and consultative selling skills, with the ability to build rapport with technical stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM platforms and data-driven decision-making. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities effectively.
· A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for technology and driving revenue growth. Thrives in a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
· Desire to work directly with developers and product teams on technical video and streaming solutions.
· Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and learning the product at a deep technical level while also leveraging Solutions Engineers throughout the sales cycle.
