Michael Putney

Michael Putney is an experienced journalist and moderator, currently serving as a Senior Political Reporter at WPLG since September 1989. Throughout a lengthy career at WPLG and its affiliated networks, Michael has held various titles, including Reporter and Moderator, with a specialized focus on political reporting. Prior to joining WPLG, Michael worked as a Reporter and Columnist for The Miami Herald from 1977 to 1981. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Missouri and has also studied at Deep Springs College.
