Steve Billing began their work experience in 1999 as a Director/Engineer/Graphics Operator for WPTV Newschannel 5. Steve then worked as a Satellite Uplink Engineer for WFTS from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they held positions as an Engineering Supervisor and Assistant Chief Engineer at WPTV Newschannel 5. In 2010, Steve became the Director of Engineering & Technology for WPTV, as well as the Chief Engineer for WFLX. Steve also served as the President of Chapter 88 for the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
Steve Billing attended Florida Atlantic University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications. Steve also attended Palm Beach State College and Stetson University, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field.
