Carly Haynes is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in broadcast media. Currently serving as an Evening Reporter at WRAL since June 2023, Carly previously excelled at WCAV-TV as an Evening Anchor and held various roles, including Weekend Anchor/Producer/Reporter and Evening Reporter/Multimedia Journalist. Notable achievements include co-hosting top-rated newscasts, improving viewership ratings, and producing award-winning pieces. Carly also has leadership experience with the Society of Professional Journalists, serving as Vice President and Membership Chair, and has completed internships at NBC Washington and Sinclair Broadcast Group. Carly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Business from the University of Maryland.
