Wade Allen is an experienced broadcast technician at WRAL since February 2019, specializing in audio board operations, audio mixing, and camera/teleprompter operation in news production. Prior to this role, Wade served as a note taker for Football Friday from August 2017 to December 2018, coordinating travel to high school football games and recording key statistics and plays for broadcasts. Earlier experience includes maintenance work at Greensboro Country Club in the summer of 2017, where Wade contributed to landscaping and facility upkeep as part of a team. Wade holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2020.
