Steffi Olickal

Steffi Olickal is a communications professional with extensive experience in program management and scientific editing. Currently serving as the Program Communications Manager at WRI India since September 2022, Olickal previously worked as a Senior Program Associate. Prior to this role, Olickal was an Associate Editor at Cactus Communications, where editing, formatting, and reviewing scientific manuscripts focused on environment, energy, and sustainability were key responsibilities. Olickal also contributed to marketing and social media management as a consultant for Woven Fabric Company and completed an internship at WWF-India, where fieldwork and policy recommendations for sustainable livelihoods were essential tasks. Olickal holds a Master's degree in Anthropology and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's degree in Natural Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from St. Xavier's College.
