Joseph Fonseka

Joseph Fonseka is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. At WSO2, Joseph has progressed through various positions since September 2013, including VP & Distinguished Engineer, Senior Director & Head of Developer Tooling, Software Architect, and Senior Technical Lead. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Architect at Respere from December 2008 to August 2013, a Consultant at NexGroup Asia Pacific from December 2011 to November 2012, and participating in a fellowship at Lanka Software Foundation from January 2006 to February 2008. Joseph holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing, completed between 2002 and 2007, and is an alumnus of St. Peter's College, having studied there from 1989 to 2002.
