Matt Burns

Matt Burns is a Vice President, Technical Fellow, and Technical Director of the Environment Services National Business Line at WSP, based in Boston, Massachusetts. With extensive experience since May 1999, Matt oversees the financial and technical operations of the Business Line. In addition, since 2007, Matt has contributed as a Scientific Advisory Board member for the AEHS Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, and Water, enhancing the technical scope of this premier annual event. Previous roles include Practice Leader at WSP USA, where Matt focused on innovative remediation techniques, and Senior Project Director at Environmental Strategies, a predecessor of WSP. Matt holds a Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
