Matthew Hanson

Matthew Hanson, PE, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at WSP since June 2023, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Associate at Burns Engineering, Inc. from January 2020 to June 2023, where Matthew designed energy plant chilled water systems and steam central energy plants. Earlier roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, focusing on HVAC and plumbing system layouts, and a Student Design Intern at Fike Corporation, where Matthew developed a gas measurement product using C++ coding. Additional experience includes assisting in property management and quality assurance for a patented product during studies at Arizona State University. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, completed in 2018.
