Craig Ford has a diverse work experience in the news industry. Craig started their career at WBBN-FM as a News Director in 1992. Craig then worked as a Freelance Reporter for CBS Radio News in 1994. In the same year, they also worked as a Reporter/Anchor for WWL-AM. From 1996 to 1998, they served as an Assignment Editor at WWL-TV. Craig then joined KTRH-AM as an Afternoon News Editor from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, they became the News Director/Anchor at WHLT-TV and later joined WTVA as an Assistant News Director/Anchor/Reporter.

Craig Ford attended the University of Southern Mississippi from 1988 to 1992. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film with a focus on Broadcast Journalism.
