Charlie Shelton-Ormond

Charlie Shelton-Ormond is an experienced podcast producer and radio host with a robust background in broadcast journalism. Currently, at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since May 2020, Charlie serves as a podcast producer. Simultaneously, Charlie hosts "Keeping Time," a weekly radio show on WHUP - 104.7 FM that examines the evolution of various musical styles. Prior to these roles, Charlie produced the American history podcast BackStory, where responsibilities included scriptwriting, guest interviews, and team management. Additional experience includes production and digital editing roles at WUNC, where Charlie contributed to "The State of Things," and earlier internships focused on communications and development in media. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
