Jason Debruyn

Jason deBruyn is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Investigative Reporter at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since September 2016, having previously held the Reporter title at the same organization. Additionally, Jason has been a Reporter at the Triangle Business Journal since March 2011, focusing on health care and higher education in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. Prior experience includes reporting for The Enquirer-Journal from 2007 to 2011, where local news stories related to sports, courts, law enforcement, and government were covered. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from Liberty University, earned in 2007, and a high school diploma from Charlotte Christian High School, obtained in 2002.
