Jerad Walker is an accomplished audio and podcast editor currently serving as Editor of Narrative Audio and Podcasts at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since October 2022. With a journalism career that began in January 2011, Jerad has contributed sound-rich features and written content to renowned NPR programs and various media outlets nationwide. Prior experience includes roles at Oregon Public Broadcasting as a Producer and Reporter, where Jerad focused on arts and culture, and as Music Director, overseeing a team for opbmusic. Additionally, Jerad worked as a Music Supervisor at SOUTH Music and Sound Design and held various production roles at WAMU 88.5, facilitating audio and video content. Jerad holds a B.S. in International Affairs from The University of Georgia, an MBA from American University's Kogod School of Business, and has completed a study abroad program in International Relations at the University of Oxford.
