Simon Block is a Junior Researcher at Wuppertal Institut für Klima, Umwelt, Energie gGmbH since June 2020. Prior to this role, Simon served as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at BFT Planung GmbH for a project focused on energy efficiency in buildings in late 2018, and at FH Aachen Institut NOWUM-Energy from 2017 to 2018. Simon holds a Master of Science in Energiewirtschaft und Informatik from Aachen University of Applied Sciences, completed in November 2021, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Maschinenbau with a specialization in Energietechnik, obtained in 2019 from the same institution.
