Rex Canning

Rex Canning is a seasoned media management professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Media Management Services at WWE since October 2015, Rex has previously held key positions at Al Jazeera Media Network, overseeing the media desk's day-to-day operations during the network's launch, and at ÜBERANGST as VP of Business Development, where responsibilities included marketing and digital presence. Additional roles include Integrated Media Manager at Fluid Post Production, Account Executive at Bravo Distributing, and various production roles on numerous television and film projects. Rex holds a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History with a focus on Film and Television Studies from the University of Vermont and completed an Executive Program in Leading Operational Excellence at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018.
