Clarence Stone is an accomplished news producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Since February 2020, Clarence has served as the 6:00 am producer for 7 News Detroit This Morning at WXYZ-TV, overseeing coverage of significant events such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the election of President Joe Biden. Prior to this role, Clarence was a news producer at WNEM TV5, responsible for crafting newscasts and managing content. Experience includes working as a production assistant at Cumulus Media, broadcasting live sporting events with the Big Ten Network Student U, and enhancing video editing skills as a production intern at CTN Ann Arbor. Additionally, Clarence has valuable experience in marketing and youth engagement through roles at the YMCA and Think Detroit PAL. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature, Clarence has a comprehensive background in both production and on-air talent.
