Kathleen Chupailo is a seasoned marketing professional with a diverse background in media and promotions, currently serving as the Marketing Manager at WXYZ-TV since February 2020. Prior to this role, Kathleen worked at Fox Corporation as a Promotions Producer from March 2015 to February 2020, where responsibilities included producing original content and writing scripts to ensure brand consistency. Earlier experience includes serving as a Branding Producer at Orion Neighborhood Television and producing local commercials and public service announcements, as well as managing social media presence. Kathleen's career began with positions such as Writer and Special Projects Producer at SHELBY TV, where high-rated shows were developed, and as a News Intern at FOX 2 News Detroit. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Oakland University, where involvement as a news anchor laid the foundation for a successful career in media.

WXYZ Channel 7 Action News is owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Company and serves as Detroit's ABC affiliate station. Broadcasting nearly 60 hours of news programming each week, we are dedicated to providing our viewers with the information they need to take action in their daily lives.
