WXYZ Channel 7 Action News is owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Company and serves as Detroit's ABC affiliate station. Broadcasting nearly 60 hours of news programming each week, we are dedicated to providing our viewers with the information they need to take action in their daily lives. Many of the city's prominent museums are located in the historic cultural center neighborhood around Wayne State University.
