Ty S. has a strong background in healthcare management and respiratory therapy. Ty started their career as a Respiratory Therapist at Grant Medical Center, where they specialized in the respiratory management of trauma patients. Ty also performed and evaluated cardiopulmonary procedures on patients of all ages. Ty then worked as a Respiratory Therapist at The Ohio State University Medical Center and Amherst Hospital before joining Primedica, Inc. as the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. In this role, they were responsible for managing the respiratory and cardiology departments at two hospitals, improving their reputations and implementing therapist-driven protocols. Ty later joined Wyandot Memorial Hospital, where they served as the Director of Cardiopulmonary and Radiology Services before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer and then President and Chief Executive Officer. In these positions, they oversaw clinical operations, managed a team of directors and coordinators, and interpreted financial and statistical data for operational control and business development.

Ty S. completed their education in a chronological order. Ty first attended Columbus State Community College from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Respiratory Therapy (RRT). After that, they enrolled at Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 1995 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business. Ty then furthered their education at Tiffin University from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business.
