Chris Lamb has over three decades of experience in information technology, currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Wylie Independent School District since October 2009. In this role, Chris provides vision and leadership for IT initiatives that align with the educational mission of the district and collaborates with district leaders to meet their goals. Previously, Chris held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure at HIT Entertainment, overseeing the design and support of global IT systems across multiple continents, and was the Manager of Technical Services at Lyrick Corporation, where responsibilities included developing IT infrastructure for company growth. Chris began a career in IT as a Programmer at Developmental Learning Materials, focusing on educational software development. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Wylie ISD is a fast-growing school district in southern Collin County, 25 miles northeast of metropolitan Dallas. Covering 41 square miles, the district serves more than 18,000 students.
