Wyoming Stargazing
Ian Edwards is a Member of the Board of Directors at Sundance Swim and Tennis Club since August 2014, where he advises the board on budget and operational issues. He is also the President of the Board of Directors at Wyoming Stargazing since July 2014, where he advises the board on strategy, business plans, budget, and fundraising activities. Ian is a ski bum at Jackson Hole since December 2012. Previously, he worked as a Mountain Host at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort from December 2014 to April 2018. Prior to that, he held positions such as Senior Director at Welch Allyn, General Manager at Graseby Optronics, and Marketing Manager at United Detector Technology. Ian's early career included roles as a Project Engineer at CLS Industries and a Tutor of Mathematics at the University of Melbourne. He holds a MS in Applied Mathematics from La Trobe University and completed his HSC at Maribyrnong High School.

Wyoming Stargazing is an educational 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Jackson Wyoming. Our mission is to educate and inspire through Wyoming's Extraordinary Skies. We offer free public stargazing events, private stargazing events, and astronomy lectures. Our vision is to create a public observatory and planetarium in Jackson Hole.
