Xiaochen Yu

Xiaochen Yu is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in driving customer experience and engagement across various platforms. Currently serving as Product Designer III at Wyze since 2021, Xiaochen focuses on enhancing Wyze Services. Previously, at Walmart Global Tech from 2020 to 2021, Xiaochen was instrumental in creating a seamless online transaction experience for 100 million monthly active users. Earlier roles include a Product Design Co-op at Starbucks, where the design of an IoT water filtration system dashboard was completed, and a UX Design Intern at Walmart Global Tech, enhancing the online discovery experience. Additional experiences include positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, a Visual Communication Designer for One Media Venture, and a Visual and Web Designer at the University of Washington. Xiaochen holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Media Arts and Science from Indiana University Indianapolis.
