Tara Kimball

Tara Kimball is a highly experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer currently at X2 Resources since January 2025, previously serving in the same role at XCL Resources from January 2020 to December 2024. Prior to this, Tara held various positions at Marathon Oil Corporation, including Adv Engineering Data Scientist and Engineering Specialist in different capacities, from May 2017 to January 2020. Tara began the career at Forest Oil Corporation in 2006 and gained diverse engineering experience in roles related to drilling and completions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of Northern Colorado.
