Richard Long

Richard Long is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in SaaS, IoT, and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Xage Security since July 2024, Richard has previously held notable positions such as Chief Financial Officer at Smartz Inc, where operational efficiencies were achieved that led to a positive Free Cash Flow and a 22% EBITDA margin. Additional roles include Chief Financial Officer at KETOS and CFO at Sonim Technologies, where Richard managed finances for a $75M rugged device business. Richard also has experience in private equity at Summit Interconnect and has led transformative business model changes at Aperia Technologies. Richard holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
