Jonathan Wilmot

Jonathan Wilmot is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning several decades in macroeconomic research and strategy. As the Founding Partner at WilmotML since February 2017, Jonathan leads innovative initiatives. Previously, Jonathan served as the Head of Macro Research at Credit Suisse from 1985 to 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing a Macro Research team and co-managing a $600 million systematic boutique. Jonathan also held the position of Chief Global Strategist in the Fixed Income Division at Credit Suisse. Earlier roles include Head of FX Strategy at Bank of America and a Global Analyst in Fixed Income Research at Merrill Lynch. Jonathan's career began at Bank of America as an FX and Country Risk Analyst. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford, obtained in 1976.
