Juan-Jose Guijarro-Leach

Juan-Jose Guijarro-Leach currently serves as the Head of Analytical Development at Xap Therapeutics, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Juan-Jose was the Head of Analytical Development and Principal Scientist in the same field at GammaDelta Therapeutics from September 2020 to December 2023. Juan-Jose's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Analytical Development Scientist at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult from January 2014 to September 2020, following a position as an Analytical Development Scientist. The academic background includes a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from Loughborough University, where the doctoral research focused on the characterisation of human embryonic stem cell processing methods. Prior educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from University College London.
