Ms. Cull joined Xavier in 2017, originating the role of Associate General Counsel. Prior to returning to her Alma Matter, Ms. Cull had been a partner at the law firm of Kohnen & Patton, where her work focused on general litigation, employment and appellate practice. She assisted and managed litigation for a variety of clients at all stages of a case, from investigation and discovery to summary judgment, mediation and trial. In employment matters, Ms. Cull assisted clients with pre-suit resolution of trade secret and noncompete violations, and has helped obtain monetary damages and injunctive relief through suit.
She also represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC) and various local human rights commissions, responding to charges of discrimination based on Title VII, the ADA and the ADEA. Ms. Cull’s appellate practice includes briefing and arguing appeals to multiple Ohio Courts of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court, addressing various areas of law, including contract disputes, an employment discrimination claim, and a medical malpractice action.
During her third year of law school, Ms. Cull served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Northern Kentucky Law Review. She is a St. Louis, Missouri native and stubbornly remains a Cardinals baseball fan.
