Ryan Long

Ryan Long serves as the President of Xcel Energy for Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota since December 2015, having held various senior legal positions within the company including Interim General Counsel, Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Managing Attorney, Lead Assistant General Counsel, and Principal Attorney. Prior to joining Xcel Energy, Ryan Long practiced as a Litigation Associate at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Additionally, Ryan Long gained legal experience as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John A. Jarvey in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College and a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School.
