Tim Borgen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nuclear operations and training. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Strategic, Enterprise, and Technical Learning Programs at Xcel Energy since September 2001, Tim focuses on enhancing workforce readiness through strategic learning initiatives and the development of apprenticeships. With previous roles including Plant Manager at Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant and General Manager of Nuclear Fleet Operations, Tim has demonstrated expertise in leadership effectiveness, operational excellence, and industry-wide performance improvement. Tim's educational background includes advanced courses in nuclear plant management and organizational leadership, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. Tim's commitment to safety and training is further highlighted by the successful implementation of training programs and the oversight of fleet training initiatives across nuclear sites.
