Matthew Rice serves as the Vice President of Marketing at Xcoal Energy & Resources since November 2009. Previously, Matthew held various positions at CSX Transportation from May 1999 to November 2009, including Director of the Export Coal Service Group, where responsibility encompassed overseeing a $450+ million coal export market and managing a diverse account portfolio. Additional roles included Market Manager for Utility North, managing utility account sales exceeding $160 million, and National Account Coordinator for Manufactured Products with a focus on logistics strategies for Georgia Pacific Corporation. Matthew earned an MBA in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and holds a BS in Marketing from Syracuse University.
