Xelevate - D.C.'s & NC's first UAS Center of Excellence
Alissa Biechlin SHRM-CP serves as the Vice President of Operations at Xelevate, a leading UAS Center of Excellence in D.C. and North Carolina, where responsibilities include overseeing company operations, tenant leases, event coordination, and human resources. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at Pathoras Corporation for over a decade, managing revenue, human resources functions, and implementing new HRIS systems. Alissa also held the position of Director of Corporate Operations, handling day-to-day HR tasks. Previous roles include Imaging Technologist at Grandview Hospital and Adjunct Professor at Northampton Community College, where a significant contribution was made to the education of radiography students. Alissa earned a Certificate in Professional Human Resources Management from Penn State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Imaging Technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Our facility provides the first and only 66 acre facility located within one hour of Washington D.C. and (coming soon!) the first municipal airport in the East to integrate safe drone operations into the airspace, in Eastern NC. We are dedicated to helping entities gain visibility on their capabilities and we provide a safe space for unmanned systems testing, development, training, innovation, and demonstration with uncontrolled and FAA compliant airspace. With our robust standard operating procedures and structured flight capabilities, we offer a safe, secure, and reliable location to advance unmanned systems capabilities, and demonstrate those capabilities to end users and operators who needs those capabilities now more than ever. Xelevate provides customers safe and secure drone/UAS engagement, innovation, cultural acceptance, and generational advancement which is accomplished by assisting industry, commercial entities, government agencies, local communities, and academia. We are dedicated to furthering the American Drone Industry and providing infrastructure to American innovators, manufacturers, and suppliers.
