Bart Cornelissen

Bart Cornelissen is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in leading finance teams across the biotech and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Xencor, Bart manages a $300M P&L for a $1B biotech company and oversees a multi-functional team. Previously, as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Seagen, Bart played a pivotal role in the company's $44 billion sale to Pfizer and scaled the finance team significantly to support revenue growth. Other notable positions include Vice President of Finance at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where Bart managed a $35M fund focused on combating Neglected Tropical Diseases, and leadership roles in various organizations including Archroma and DSM Nutritional Products. Bart holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School.
