David Kohanbash

David Kohanbash is an experienced professional in robotics and engineering, currently serving as the Robotics and Special Tooling Manager at X-energy since July 2022. With a strong background as a Principal Systems (Robotic) Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University from February 2006 to August 2022, David has specialized in high-level electronics and low-level software, focusing on embedded systems and controls. As the founder and CTO of Mayim from January 2014 to December 2020, David developed intelligent irrigation control systems utilizing wireless sensor networks. Additionally, David has been a blogger at robotsforroboticists.com since December 2013, sharing insights on professional robotics. Prior experiences include network engineering at Dave's Networking Solutions and varied roles at HARRY AND JEANETTE WEINBERG TERRACE INC.
