Fernando Murcia

Fernando Murcia is an experienced engineer specializing in Plant and Process Design with a focus on Smart P&ID management and engineering applications. Currently serving as Engineer VI at X-energy since October 2021, Fernando has held multiple roles including subject matter expert for SPID and P&ID information management. Prior to this, Fernando worked at CTCI Americas Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineering System Application Analyst and at McDermott International Inc. as a Senior Principal IT Pillar Specialist. Fernando also has extensive experience from CB&I, where roles included Principal Engineering System Application Analyst and Principal Process Engineer, as well as previous positions at Fluor and KBR, Inc. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
