Mahime Fernando

Mahime Fernando is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in quality assurance and agile methodologies. Currently serving as Engineering Team Lead at Xero since December 2024, Mahime previously held positions including Engineering Lead at Bank of New Zealand, where a significant focus was on transforming testing processes to align with agile principles. Mahime's extensive career includes roles as Test Lead in Data and Analytics at ANZ, Software QA Consultant and Agile Coach at Finetech, and Senior Software Test Analyst at Trade Me, among others. Educational achievements include a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology from The University of Auckland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Colombo, complemented by earlier studies in Computer/Information Technology.
