Bob Welland

Bob Welland is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently, Bob is taking time off while serving as Chief Architect of the AI Group at Xevo Inc. since 2017. Bob's previous ventures include positions as Architect at Surround.io and Partner at Industrial Photons LLC, as well as founding Synthetic Networks and Wayfarer Communications. Bob has also played key roles at Microsoft, contributing to projects such as Internet Explorer and dynamic systems initiatives, and has engineering experience at notable companies like Apple, Commodore, and Tecmar. Bob studied Physics and Computer Science at Northwestern University and completed secondary education at ETHS.
