Yanqi Wei has a strong background in strategy and investment banking, currently serving in a strategy role at Xiaohongshu since June 2024. Prior experience includes a position at China Renaissance from July 2021 to May 2024 in investment banking, and a summer internship as a strategy analyst at ByteDance in 2020, which led to a return offer. Yanqi also gained experience as an investment intern at Bertelsmann Asia Investments from September 2019 to January 2020. Yanqi Wei holds a master's degree from Fudan University and a bachelor's degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, along with experience as an exchange student in economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2017.
