Liu Wei

Lu Weibing, born in September 1975, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and received his EMBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in 2009. He is Xiaomi's partner and president, and president of the Smartphone Department.

Lu Weibing joined Xiaomi in 2019 and has since been responsible for sales support in the China Region and the International Department, as well as work related to the Redmi brand.

Before joining Xiaomi, Lu Weibing founded Shenzhen Chenyee Technology Co., Ltd and served as CEO of the company from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, he served as president of Gionee Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen between 2010 and 2017; as general manager of the Overseas Business Department at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd from 2008 to 2010; and as sales general manager of Konka Telecommunications Technology Co., Ltd. from 1998 to 2007.
