Scott McConnell

Scott McConnell currently holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at Xilio Therapeutics, Inc., starting in December 2023. Previously, Scott served as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Venatorx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from November 2021 to December 2023, and at Chiasma from July 2019 to November 2021. Additional roles include Scientific Affairs Consultant at Kaleido Biosciences and Medical/Scientific Affairs Consultant at McConnell Healthcare Consulting. Scott has also held senior leadership positions at Alkermes and Cubist Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Director of Medical Affairs and Global Medical Information. Scott began an academic career as an Assistant Professor at Creighton University after earning a Pharm.D. from the same institution, where studies were completed between 1991 and 1997.
