David Stafford

David Stafford is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Xilis since January 2022, specializing in scientific instrument software and firmware development. Previously, at 10x Genomics from August 2014 to September 2021, David advanced through several roles, ultimately serving as Principal Engineer, contributing to various projects ranging from software implementation to technical leadership and management of cloud services. Earlier positions include Senior Software Engineer roles at Luvocracy and Facebook, as well as foundational work as a Linux Database/Systems Engineer at Metaweb Technologies and a Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Caltech, earned from 2000 to 2004.
