Gary Powell

Gary Powell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gary'smost recent position is as the Sales Director for XpertHR, which is a leading online resource for HR information. Prior to this, they held various positions at Cirium, where they served as the Head of Sales for EMEA & APAC, VP of Sales - EMEA, and Global VP of Sales Enablement. Gary also worked at Accuity as the Head of Sales Enablement for EMEA / APAC. Before that, they worked as a Business Consultant at GP Consulting, a Partner at Smarter Not Harder, the UK Sales Director at Acxiom, and a Consultant Sales Director at Profusion and LBM Direct Marketing. Gary's early career includes positions such as Sales Director at Equifax and Head of Sales at Dun & Bradstreet.

Gary Powell attended the University of Bedfordshire from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Business & Finance. Gary does not possess a degree in this field. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they became an IDC Staff Instructor through PADI and an Emergency First Response Instructor through Emergency First Response. In 2011, they obtained the Tec Trimix Diver certification from DSAT (PADI). In 2013, they obtained the Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver - Decompression Diving Techniques certification from TDI - Technical Diving International. Finally, in 2020, they became a Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
