Richard North

Richard North serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and VP of Commercial Operations at Xplor Education since April 2022 and is also the Director of the New Zealand Podcast Awards. With a diverse background in strategic advisory roles, Richard has been a board advisor at FlashFomo and previously held significant positions at Sky New Zealand and RugbyPass, where responsibilities included international expansion and launching OTT services. Richard's extensive experience in digital and commercial sectors is further supported by a strong foundation in partnerships at YouTube and Google. Richard holds a law degree (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management/Marketing from the University of Canterbury, complemented by ongoing professional development through the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
