Sukhwant Jhaj

Sukhwant Jhaj currently serves as the Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Student Achievement and Dean of University College at Arizona State University since March 2019. Jhaj is also a member of the Leadership Advisory Board for the Higher Learning Commission’s Credential Lab, which focuses on creating a quality assurance system for alternative postsecondary credentials. In addition, Jhaj co-chairs the Learning + Society Brain Trust at XPRIZE, envisioning equitable access to customized learning experiences by 2045. Previously, Jhaj held several leadership positions at Portland State University from July 2002 to March 2019, including Vice President for Academic Innovation, Planning, and Partnerships. Jhaj's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, alongside multiple degrees in management and architecture from esteemed institutions.
